Our events are held mostly in the homes of private individuals. We try to balance numbers m/f. Sometimes this means having to put your name on a waiting list for some events - or occasionally refuse entry - sorry, if it happens to you.

Please do not hand out any leaflets, nor sell tickets, for anything unconnected with NWJS, at our events.

We need more people to lead/host (eg pubs, cinema, theatre) and offer their homes for events. We have to depend too heavily on one or two kind people and it's not fair. We will help with catering, particularly since ALL our events are kosher.

We've had some problems with admission to events. Please, we'd rather you didn't book, than booked and didn't turn up. This reduces availability for others wanting to come, and we sometimes have to turn people away - and it ruins the catering plans and costs us money. We are a voluntary group and are really trying to do our best.
