NWJS was founded by David Rose who, having been lucky enough to find happiness again after divorce, wanted and still wants, to 'put something back into the community' and to help other people who find themselves single (perhaps for a second time) at a later stage in life.
Not all the people who might join NWJS have been married; some have careers and find they have less time than others to make a social life for themselves. Some find that after divorce or widowhood they are unsure just how to go about creating a new social life for themselves. Still others, though fairly confident, do not want to venture into completely new environments unaccompanied, and find it helps to meet others 'in the same boat'.

NWJS run events, parties, outings, etc. to which all Jewish singles within the age-range of approximately 50 to 60s are invited.

The events Diary shows activities presently arranged. It gets better and changes frequently.

Come along to as many, or as few, events as you want to. We hope that you will join us and give us your ideas.

If you are not single or not Jewish, or are out of our age range, please don't be offended if we can't offer you a place at our events.
