We had such a good time on Wednesday - we picked blackberries and greengages (bring bags if YOU want to) - that we decided to do it once more for those who couldn't get there for the first round - or come again if you came before! Meet at 3.10 near the entrance for a walk in Long Lane Pasture, N3 2RN, from 3.15pm. Info below about this hidden secret garden. (note: this is NOT a fitness walk, just a stroll.)
The Pasture is a wild meadow. It will take about 20-30 minutes to walk around the Pasture. Some areas are being kept as undisturbed areas for wildlife. No dogs, nor toilets nor picnic tables. Access is free of charge, but they rely on donations to maintain the Pasture. Please make a small contribution - £2 or £3 would be fine.
Location: Long Lane Pasture is accessed by a pedestrian gate off a short access road opposite Finchley Fire Station just by the North Circular Road bridge over Long Lane.
